Cotton and cashmere are blended and dyed in the yarn, then woven in Italy into a fine mélange twill. The result is a brown with depth, warmer and cooler threads side by side, and a softness that cotton alone does not have. The cloth is exceptionally light and rests on the body with almost no weight.
Mother-of-pearl buttons give a clean contrast against the color. A classic point collar, button cuffs and a curved hem keep the lines simple.
It is a shirt for unhurried days and long evenings: open at the collar with cream trousers at the weekend, or under a soft-shouldered jacket for lunch in the city. Light enough to travel in, and warm enough in tone to carry into the cooler months.
